(n). The exact boundaries of the lot to be determined before
the issue of the Crown Lease. In the event of any
excess or deficiency in area being found to exist as
compared with the area stated in these conditions, the
amount to be paid by or to be refunded to the lessees
in respect of such excess or deficiency will be
calculated at the rate of 15 cents per square foot.
Crown rent will be adjusted at the rate of $350.00 per
acre per annum.
EXTENSION TO KOWLOON MARINE LOT 27 AND HUNGHOM INLAND
LOT 218.
(a). The lessees to surrender the existing Crown Leases of
K.M.L. 27 and H.H.I.L. 218 when required by the Land
Officer.
(b). The lessees to be granted a new Crown Lease to include
K.M.L. 27 and H.H.I.L. 218 and the area coloured red
on plan, which contains about 325, 430 square feet.
(o). Term of lease 999 years, commencing from 16th, November,
1884 (date of leases of K,M,L, 27 and H.H,I.L. 218).
(d). The lessees to pay into the Colonial Treasury within
14 days from the date of ¿ letter from the Director
of Public Works stating that the area is at their
disposal premium at the rate of 15 cents per square
foot for the area coloured red,
(*). In determining the Crown rent payable under the new
lease, Crown rent for the area coloured red to be
calculated at the rate of $350.00 per acre per annum.
The Crown rent for the entire area to be adjusted to
the nearest even dollar and to commence from the date
mentioned in (4).
(f). A sum of not less than $40,000 to be spent on buildings
on the lot within 3 years of the date of the letter
mentioned in (d).
